Most boutique owners and brand managers who contact us have never ordered from an Indonesian manufacturer before. They have a design, a budget, and a deadline, but are not sure how the process works. This post walks through what actually happens when you place a custom order with us.
Start with what you already have
You do not need a finished technical drawing to start. Some customers send a sketch on paper. Some send a photo of a reference piece they like. Some send a mood board. We work with all of these. What matters is that we understand the shape, the stone if any, the finish, and the approximate size.
If you have a CAD file or a technical drawing, that speeds things up. But most small brands and boutiques are not there yet, and that is fine.
What happens after you send your design
We review it and come back to you with a price per piece based on the complexity, the silver weight, and the stone if one is involved. We also flag anything in the design that would be difficult to produce or that would significantly affect the price.
Once you agree on the price, we make a sample. The sample takes about 10 to 14 days. We send you photos first. If the photos look good, we ship the physical sample. You check it, request any adjustments, and confirm.
Minimum order and production
Our minimum for custom designs is 15 pieces per design. If you need 15 rings in one design and 15 bracelets in another, those are counted separately.
Production after sample approval takes 3 to 6 weeks depending on quantity and complexity. We give you a more specific timeline when we quote the job.
Private label and packaging
If you want your logo on the piece, we can laser engrave it on the metal. We can also add your logo to the packaging, insert a card with your branding, and attach your barcodes. We handle this as part of the same order. You do not need a separate packaging supplier.
Payment terms
We ask for 50% deposit to start production and the balance before shipment. Payment is via bank transfer. We send you an invoice with our bank details and a proforma for your records.
Shipping
We ship internationally via DHL or FedEx. Typical transit time is 3 to 5 business days to Singapore, the USA, the UK, Japan, and Australia. We provide the tracking number as soon as the shipment is picked up.
