Born from a Shared Mission
PT Artistica Jewellery was founded in Surabaya, Indonesia in 2003 by two passionate individuals — one from Norway, one from Indonesia — united by a single mission: to bring Indonesian handcrafted sterling silver to the world without compromising on authenticity or quality.
Surabaya is Indonesia's second-largest city and its main eastern port — a manufacturing hub distinct from Bali's tourist trade. Our workshop operates in the Purang Sewu district of Gunung, where our silversmiths produce every piece by hand using traditional Indonesian metalworking techniques alongside modern casting and finishing equipment.
What started as a small studio grew into a registered manufacturer supplying boutiques and brands in Singapore, the USA, Europe, Japan, and Australia. Today PT Artistica Jewellery is also the first and only jewelry manufacturer in Indonesia to hold BPJPH government Halal certification — covering all 12 jewelry categories.
